I saw an article in The Guardian about finding contentment in life through the Buddhist methods of gratitude for what you have and appreciating your blessings. Then I read that British cyclist Finlay Tarling has died aged 19 after cycling into a truck in Portugal, and I thought I'm so blessed to not be a dumb cunt like him and am grateful to have lived 3 times as long just by sitting on the couch drinking and smoking.
